our way. it looks pretty impressive but the bulk of the energy breaks off to the north. not as cold tonight. we might get through the morning rush hour dry. a morning mix is still possible but mainly north and west of town. we're talking hagerstown west and west of i-81. and milder with showers in the afternoon. the mild air will win out with this particular situation. so here's our futurecast. 6:00 in the morning, it's dry. might even see a peek of the sun north of town. we do see the rain showing up in the mountains. we'll put this into motion. by 7:30, still dry. if you're an early commuter, that increases your chance of making it to work with dry pavement. by 9:00 we see showers in frederick, leesburg and back toward culpeper. a mix of snow back in the mountains. there are winter weather advisories for alleghany county, mineral and grant and folks toward petersburg for a little snow and sleet. put this back into motion. by 10:30 the showers are crossing i-95. and then by noon, we've got showers across the board. but it gets out of here very quickly. by this time tomorrow, we wil
